VIPA wins the European award for groundbreaking human resource development concept
The medium-sized company VIPA, specialists for automation technology and control solutions, is advancing the professional qualifications of its workforce with a new, innovative development program. The professional association of the further education sector (BDVT) honored the concept with the European award in gold for consulting, training and coaching.
The jury of BDVT based its decision above all on the "precise classification" of the development program. It combines the power of a medium-sized employer with the professional personnel development measures from the world of large concerns.
For example, the combination of the newly structured company-wide personnel development with the individual “Performance Management Coaching” of the executive managers was classified as methodically groundbreaking. The “Leadership Sustainability Program” at VIPA GmbH promotes the joint development of a tailor-made company-wide expertise development system after a comprehensive situation and needs analysis. This allows them to define precise measures for all executive managers and employees. This not only makes for more efficiency and cost savings in the operational further education but also strengthens employee- identification with the company.

Therefore, it is a constant challenge to present VIPA as an attractive employer to the public and to establish itself early on in the minds of potential job candidates”, said Udo Richter, project participant at VIPA GmbH. “I am convinced that the investment and the measures will contribute to the further success of the company.” VIPA developed the award-winning personnel development concept together with the training specialists of Coaching Concepts, located in Türkheim, Swabia.
